Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Dragan Djurovic met today in Podgorica with Ambassador Lamberto Zannier, Director of the Vienna-based Conflict Prevention Center and Ambassador Paraschiva Badescu, Head of the OSCE Office in Podgorica. Having expressed their satisfaction with the success of cooperation between the OSCE and the Montenegrin Interior Ministry, the interlocutors exchanged views on several issues of common interest. Reference was made to the specific activities related to the forthcoming donor conference, taking place on 3rd and 4th November in Montenegro, under the auspices of OSCE, as a support to the reform of the Montenegrin Ministry of the Interior. Ambassador Zannier told Minister Djurovic that he was pleased with the progress made in reforming the Ministry of the Interior and announced his own engagement in presenting the achievements to the OSCEs headquarters in Vienna, which would, among other things, be a substantial contribution to the success of the planned donor conference.Djurovic and Zannier also discussed the terms and conditions for organizing a referendum on Montenegros statehood status.
